Polydextrose
Polydextrose is a water-soluble dietary fiber. It is a polysaccharide composed of randomly cross-linked glucose, which is formed by high-temperature melting and polycondensation of glucose, a small amount of sorbitol, and citric acid. It is white or off-white solid particles, easily soluble in water, with a solubility of 70%, slightly sweet, and no special taste. It is a food component with health care functions and can supplement the water-soluble dietary fiber needed by the human body.
